Donald Kinyon
Donald P. Kinyon, Architect, AIA, NCARB originally joined the firm in 1995 and is Principal-in Charge. As the firm’s operations director he is responsible for the implementation and integration of intellectually thorough strategies, policies and development. His skill derives from over 30 years in architecture industry experience aspiring to provide clear, succinct and sound expert advice, primarily on the interpretation of the ever changing building code and standards. His key strengths include the application and adaptation of standards to specific local requirements to assist his client’s in pursuing their project development objectives.

Founder
Stephen Harriman
Mr. Stephen Harriman (retired) was the Founding Principal of Harriman Kinyon Architects, Inc, now renamed Kinyon + Kim Architects.
Mr. Harriman has an extensive architectural career which includes serving on Design Review consulting services for the City of Martinez, Planning Commission for the City of Walnut Creek and as oral examiner for the State of California’s architectural exam for candidates to be a California licensed architect. His work included receiving local and regional design awards including two of the prestigious Pacific Coast Builder’s Golden Nugget Awards.

Ms. Barajas joined Kinyon + Kim Architects, Inc. in 2012 and has successfully and seamlessly become one of our distinguished licensed architects. Her commitment to excellence and her enthusiasm to deliver innovative solutions on all her projects result in efficient, environmentally friendly and timeless buildings. After nearly a decade in practice, she has mastered the ability to predict, analyze and apply cost saving and responsible design techniques specific to the client’s vision. Her expertise is applied at all stages of our projects from preliminary design stage through construction.
